शास्त्रोक्त (वैदिक) महत्त्व: बढ़ती उम्र में बच्चों का अन्नमय कोश अधिक विकसित हो रहा होता है, इसलिए वे अधिकतर कफ संबंधी समस्याओं से प्रभावित होते हैं। बच्चों के स्वस्थ विकास के लिए इन रोगों से उत्पन्न कष्टों और कमियों से मुक्त रहना महत्त्वपूर्ण है।
