आयुर्वेद के विभिन्न ग्रंथों में अनेक चर्म-रोगों का वर्णन है। इनमें सबसे जटिल रोग कुष्ठ को माना गया है। अच्छे आहार और कुछ औषधियों के सेवन से लाभ होने का उल्लेख है। सोरायसिस में सोरवन कैप्सूल से उत्कृष्ट लाभ मिलता है। गंधक, नीम, करंज, कमल जैसी औषधियाँ मिलाकर इसे त्वचा रोगों के विरुद्ध प्रभावी बनाया गया है।
सामग्री: नीम, करंज, कमल, इंद्रायण फल, कडु और शुद्ध गंधक।
लाभ: सोरायसिस और अन्य त्वचा रोगों में अत्यंत उपयोगी; रक्त शुद्ध करता और चर्म-रोगों में राहत देता है।
शास्त्रोक्त (वैदिक) महत्त्व: आयुर्वेद में सोरायसिस तथा अन्य त्वचा रोगों के उपचार के लिए विभिन्न प्राकृतिक औषधीय वनस्पतियाँ बताई गई हैं। ऐसी जड़ी-बूटियों को मिलाकर यह औषधि बनाई गई है।
